Susanne is currently on maternity leave
New to the Global family, Susanne previously spent the last 9 years of her career reporting, producing and anchoring the 6 o’clock news and co-hosting Breakfast Television at CityTV.
Proud of her prairie roots, Susanne grew up on the family grain and cattle farm near Langbank, Saskatchewan. Raised in a hard core hockey family with 2 brothers, she also spent countless hours in the coldest and oldest rinks in the province.
A bachelors degree in Communications from MRU, Susanne has worked for Hockey Canada, CTV Yorkton and CTV Regina.
From rock stars to politicians, Susanne’s career has enabeled her to meet and interview some amazing people. Some highlights include Brian Mulroney, Tom Green, Michael Ignatieff, Biff Naked, Stephen Harper, Tom Cochrane, Lady Antebelum, and Marvin Hamlisch.
When not at work, Susanne and her husband Andrew are chasing after their busy 2-year old, Katherine, and yellow labrador retriever Ruby.
