They’re established to help gauge how our kids are learning, but are provincial achievement tests ‘failing’ our children?
Some educators say the tests, beginning in grade 3, don’t really tell the Province any real information on how children are doing in school, and if the system is working.
In fact, critics argue they might actually be harming young children who don’t understand the process.
