MISSION: AFGHANISTAN

From May 2nd through 10th, Seven hundred reservists from Western Canada are taking part in a major training exercise involving regular forces and support from the United States Army and British Army at CFB Suffield.

In our special two part series, Global News reporter Heather Yourex and photographer Nate Luit embed themselves with the military in this exercise to find out how Calgary reservists are benefiting like never before in terms of training and opportunities thanks to the mission in Afghanistan.
